Personal information collected via the Yooralla Careers Site will only be used for recruitment purposes by Yooralla.

The information you provide to us may be stored in a database and disclosed to referees, those of our staff who are involved in recruitment or support roles, security organisations, and other third parties who assist us in the recruitment process.

If you choose not to provide any of the information requested we may be unable to send you information, fully process your application or properly consider you for employment.

Any information we collect about you in the future via this site, or otherwise in relation to the recruitment process, will be used and disclosed in the same manner as described above unless we tell you otherwise in advance. You may request access to personal information about you that is held by us. 

Privacy Statement – applicable to VET Students, Clinical Students and Volunteers

Personal information collected via the Yooralla Careers Site will only be used for processing applications for VET Student or Clinical Student placements or volunteer applications.

The information you provide to us may be stored in a database and disclosed to referees, those of our staff who are involved in processing of applications or support roles, security organisations, and other third parties who assist us in the recruitment process.

If you choose not to provide any of the information requested we may be unable to send you information, fully process your application or properly consider you for a placement or as a volunteer.

Any information we collect about you in the future via this site, or otherwise in relation to the application process, will be used and disclosed in the same manner as described above unless we tell you otherwise in advance. You may request access to personal information about you that is held by us. 

Consent and Agreement:
I agree to consent to Yooralla using and disclosing my personal information in the manner described above.

I further agree that:

I will abide by the rules and procedures of Yooralla and to participate in all aspects of the selection process established for the position for which I am applying.

Reference checks may be conducted with any of the referees I provide during the recruitment process.

Information about me will be provided to Yooralla by those people contacted for the purposes of confirming my previous work history and performance and my qualifications.

I am willing to undergo a national police check for the purpose of assessing whether I am suitable for employment with Yooralla.

I am willing to undergo and provide an international police check at my own expense (if and where applicable) for the purpose of assessing whether I am suitable for employment with Yooralla.

I am qualified to work in Australia and, when requested, can provide evidence of that fact (birth certificate, citizenship certificate, photo ID and/or working VISA with supporting documentation, as appropriate) and that my details will be checked via the Immigration portal.

If applicable to the position for which I am applying:

  • I agree and give my consent to undergo Psychometric testing to assess my suitability for employment with Yooralla.
  • I will give my consent to be bound by the operation of the Carer Register and understand my name will be checked against the list (Victorian DHHS).
  • I will arrange and pay for a Working with Children Check or to provide a certified photocopy of my current employment Working with Children card and that my details will be checked against the Working with Children Check portal.
  • I am willing to complete a detailed Inherent Requirements form and undergo a pre-employment medical examination with a doctor nominated by Yooralla to ensure that the position for which I am applying is suited to my physical capacities.
  • I will arrange and pay for a First Aid Certificate and CPR. This will be stipulated in the position description for the role I have applied for.

I understand that any deliberate misrepresentation of fact in my application for employment, either in writing or verbally, will mean that no offer of employment will be made, or such offer will be withdrawn, or employment terminated.
