When you apply for a position and during the recruitment process with Foxtel*, we collect personal information about you from you. We may also collect your personal information from third parties, including your past employers or contacts when we conduct reference checks, companies that provide recruitment services to us and others when we receive the results of any competency or psychometric assessments and any police, background or bankruptcy checks (where you have consented to these assessments and checks). We collect this information to enable us to assess your employment application.
If you do not wish to provide us with personal information we require to assess your employment application (or provide us with inaccurate or incorrect information) we may choose not to proceed with your application.
We may disclose your personal information to companies that provide recruitment services to us, including the provider of our recruitment management system.

If you are unsuccessful in obtaining employment with Foxtel, your information remains on our recruitment management system for you to use in any future applications or for us to consider for any future suitable vacancies. If any vacancy arises within Foxtel for which we believe you may be a suitable candidate, we may disclose your information to the person responsible for the recruitment of that position. If you do not want us to retain your information under these circumstances, please let us know and we will delete your information wherever practicable.
