Collection
WorkCover Queensland collects and uses Personal Information about you in relation to your application for employment with us. This may include:

We usually collect this information directly from you; however, we may also collect your Personal Information from third parties, including your referees, and our pre-employment screening checks provider. By registering a profile on our recruitment database and electing to receive job mail, you are opting to receive email notification of jobs that match the personal preferences you selected. A resume submission forms part of your application.
During our recruitment process, we may conduct some or all of the following pre-employment screening checks:
- Confirmation of education and/or previous employment
- Reference checks
- Bankruptcy
- Criminal History
- Professional memberships
- Directorship search
- Company checks
- Eligibility to work in Australia
Use and Disclosure
Your Personal Information is used to assess your suitability for the job/s you apply for and is stored in electronic format on our secure internal database for the purpose of building a talent pool of prospective candidates for jobs based on profile matches. Your Personal Information may also be shared with your referees and our pre-employment screening checks provider.
We will only use your information for this purpose. It will otherwise not be used or disclosed unless authorised or required by law. Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld).
Data Quality
At any time, you may access your account to update your profile and/or resume ensuring the information we hold about you is complete, accurate and up to date.

Access and Correction
It is your responsibility to keep your login and password details private to prevent unauthorised access. At any time, you may access your account to update, make new applications, activate or deactivate your registration for job mail or to remove your account entirely from our records. Anonymity
You may register for job mail anonymously by using your email address only.
