By submitting an application or registering interest for employment with SA Power Networks, you will supply us with personal information, including application data and contact details, ('your information').
Once submitted, SA Power Networks may use your information for the following purposes:

To assess and administer your application for employment in accordance with SA Power Networks' recruitment and administrative practices (including conducting psychometric, aptitude, heights and dexterity testing and reference checks; which may include collecting information from a third party);

To comply with any legal or regulatory obligations;

To monitor and review SA Power Networks' recruitment practices.
You acknowledge and agree that, in carrying out the above activities your information may be controlled and processed by any of SA Power Networks' officers, affiliates, agents and contractors.
We do not ask you to provide us with sensitive personal information, except that we may ask you about your racial or ethnic origin, in particular whether you are of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander origin.
We may also ask you to attend a pre-employment medical assessment during the recruitment process. The information obtained at the pre-employment medical assessment will be provided to and retained securely by SA Power Networks.
If your application is unsuccessful, SA Power Networks may retain your information on file in case, for example, there are any positions in the future that we consider you may be suitable for. Please contact SA Power Networks if you do not wish for SA Power Networks to retain your information on file. If your application is successful, SA Power Networks will retain your information as part of your employment records.
You are not required by law to submit your information, but SA Power Networks may not be able to accept or process your application for employment if the information is not supplied. You may request access to your information (and the correction of any incorrect information) at any time by contacting the recruitment team at HRLink@sapowernetworks.com.au.
