You will be required to provide personal information when you apply for a role or register for future job opportunities. Information you provide must be complete and accurate, otherwise we may not be able to progress with your application or registration. Personal information we collect may include the following.

• Skills and employment history details.
• Referee details.
• Information collected during the interview process or otherwise disclosed by you in your interactions with us.
• Criminal records (only applicable to specific roles).

• Your work entitlement in Australia or New Zealand, including any visa you hold.

We use your personal information to assess and process your application and perform recruitment related activities.

The personal information you submit to us may be stored in a database and disclosed to referees, staff who are involved in recruitment or support roles, security or relevant government organisations, recruitment agencies, authorised service providers who assist us in the recruitment process, and related entities of the Just Group.  The information you provide us will be primarily stored in Australia.  Where you provide personal information to our authorised service providers, we may use this information to update and correct your details in our database. Your personal information may also be disclosed where required or authorised by law.

If you choose not to provide any of the information requested, we may be unable to send you information, or fully assess or process your application for employment.

Any personal information we collect about you in the future via this site, or otherwise in relation to the recruitment process (e.g. from your referee), will be used and disclosed in the same manner as described above unless we tell you otherwise in advance.

Should you be appointed to a position at Just Group, your information will be transferred to staff employment records and managed in accordance with Just Group policies and procedures. Just Group is required under law to collect additional information from you and report details, such as, your Tax File Number to the Australian Taxation Office.

If your application is unsuccessful but you wish to be considered for future positions, Just Group will store your personal information for as long as required, including to meet legal requirements or our recruitment needs. If you wish to withdraw your application, you can do so through your account on our website or by contacting Just Group directly.

We take all reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. You can contact us if you believe that personal information we hold about you is incorrect, if you have questions about how we are handling your personal information, or if you wish to access or request changes to the personal information we hold about you. We will make all reasonable efforts to correct your information. Access to your personal information may be subject to exceptions prescribed by law.
