To apply an applicant for a position, please read the following terms and conditions:

By submitting an application or registering interest for employment with The Suncorp Group you will supply us with information which is personal information subject to the Privacy Act. You should be aware that:

You can contact us by phone, fax, or email and request access to your personal information once submitted. In normal circumstances, we will give you full access to your personal information, however there may be some legal or administrative reason to deny you access, in which case we will tell you of our reason.

Once submitted we will use your information for the following purposes:

  • to assess and administer your application for employment in accordance with our standard recruitment practices including conducting psychometric testing and reference checks;
  • to communicate with you in relation to your application; and
  • to monitor and review our recruitment practices.

 

If your application is unsuccessful we may retain your information on file in the event that a more appropriate opportunity becomes available. You are free to contact us if you do not wish us to retain your information.

While the information that you may supply is not required by law, we may not be able to accept or process your application for employment if the information is not supplied.
