Privacy Notice For Australian Applicants

Savers Australia Pty Ltd (ACN 116 995 594) and TVI, Inc. and its affiliates (“Savers”, “we” or “us”) collect and use personal information about you in the recruitment and applicant screening context. By providing us with your personal information, you agree to the terms of this Applicant Privacy Notice ("Notice") and consent to the collection, use and disclosure or your personal information in accordance with this Notice. You are not required to provide any information to Savers, but failing to do so may result in our not being able to process your application properly or at all. This Notice applies to Australian applicants.
This Notice provides information to help you understand the categories of information about you that we collect and the purposes for which those categories of information will be used.
1. How will be collect personal information from you? We will collect personal information about you which is submitted through your employment applicant or which is otherwise collected through our recruitment and applicant screening processes.
2. What are the categories of personal information being collected? We may collect personal identity information about you which includes, but is not limited to, full name, preferred name, home address, personal email address, personal phone numbers, tax file number, date of birth, age, sex, preferred language, resume or CV, ethnic background, nationality, electronic signature, and work authorization status. We may collect surveillance information, including, but not limited to, photographs and video on our premises for purpose of identity validation and physical security. Where required the purposes set out in this Notice, we may also need to collect sensitive information about you (for example, information related to your health status, nationality, criminal record or religious beliefs). Where we wish to collect sensitive information from you, we will obtain your express consent prior to the collection of this information.
3. What are the purposes for which my personal information is collected? We collect your personal information to track your application, for recruiting purposes, to communicate with you about and to screen your application, to conduct background checks, to monitor the security of our information network and physical premises, to comply with applicable laws, for legal purposes to defend claims, or for other legitimate purposes we may have as a potential employer.
4. How will your personal information be used or disclosed? We will only use and disclose your personal information in accordance with this Notice and all applicable privacy laws (including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)). We may disclose your personal information to third parties to assist us with our evaluation of your employment application. We may also disclose your personal information overseas to our managing affiliate, TVI, Inc. dba Savers, located in the United States.

6. Can this Notice change? We may change this Notice from time to time. You will be able to see when we last updated this Notice because we will include a revision date. Changes and additions to this Notice are effective from the date on which they are posted. Please review this Notice from time to time to check whether we have made any changes to the information we collect or the purposes for which it will be used. If this Notice changes materially so that your personal information will be used in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection, we will notify you by email, and where necessary will seek your consent.
