Thank you for your interest in applying for a casual position in the Diocese.

You will be able to select from the following options within the application:

Casual General Employee (Schools)

  • Administration
  • Canteen Manager / Supervisor / Assistant
  • Classroom Learning and Support (Teacher's Aide)
  • Cleaner
  • Grounds person / Maintenance

All applicants are required to complete a "system application form" which includes: 

  • upload documentation:
    • 100 points of identification (as per list here) - certified copies (combined into one document)
    • degree/diploma/certificates, transcripts if applicable - certified copies (combined into one document)
    • resume and cover letter (no more than one page), 
  • provide details of your Working with Children Check number.
  • nomination of a minimum of two (2) professional referees with the option to provide details for a third (3) referee.

Reference Checks

Catholic Schools Office have implemented a software solution for electronic reference checking.

  • This means you will receive an email request to submit your referee contacts via X-Ref software.
  • Reference requests will be sent to your two (2) elected referees via X-Ref software. Referees have the option to complete your reference check via their laptop or mobile devices.
  • On your application form there is an option to provide a third referee such as your Parish Priest, OUTSIDE of the X-Ref software.
